Nerds of the world unite.

Robots FTW!  One of the high school students I interviewed for my admission to my alma mater this year has been really involved in this crazy robotics competition that is held every year by US First.

Teams of students design robots for gameplay, which involves picking up these multi-colored balls and shooting them at designated targets.  Robots are big - human-sized! - and the arena is like a small stadium, thronged with people.

I kind of want to go watch it.

The high school students in my town participate in the USFirst robotic competition. While I have never attended USFirst, local high schools in New Jersey put on a show at our high school each year after the competition. It's lots of fun.
I also interviewed a guy who was involved in this competition. He was President of the Robotics Club, as a matter of fact. He was not offered admission. Sometimes, I wonder how I got in! I'd be scared out of my mind if I had to apply to college now! There's so much competition!
I think this is a too late of a comment but our team- RMR662 is on the competition. GO 662!
And as a fact, the wheels are standard on the surface- no changing of wheels or disqualification.
