Design Thursday: How to make an Eames-era mobile

Check out this step-by-step set of instructions from a 1954 issue of Popular Science magazine.  Garry and I used to go to the SFMOMA and joke about how we could make the mobiles we saw hanging there out of some sheet metal and chicken wire.

Well, now we can!  There is even a downloadable template here.
