9pm dinner for one: Roasted fennel and turmeric shrimp with onions

Talk about mixing east and west.  Used Giada's fennel recipe and my mom's method of cooking shrimp simply, with browned onions, a dash of turmeric, and fish sauce.  The trick with shrimp is to not overcook it.  Wait until it turns pink all the way through, then turn off the heat.  Yom.

this recipe look so delicious, and you really hit me in my Achiles's heel, shrimps, is my weak point when we talk about seafood, in fact this is the most recommended recipe in xlpharmacy food review, a magazine with a lot of information aboutr food.
